Experimental details

Western blot analysis was performed on whole cell extracts of Hep G2 (Lane 1), undifferentiated C2C12 (Lane 2), differentiated C2C12 (Lane 3), THP-1 (Lane 4), SH-SY5Y (Lane 5), Mouse Adipose (Lane 6) and Mouse Brain (Lane 7). The blot was probed with TGFBR3 Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA5-17529, 1:1000 dilution) and detected by chemiluminescence using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG (H+L) Superclonal™ Secondary Antibody, HRP conjugate (Product # A27036, 0.25 µg/mL, 1:4000 dilution). A 100kDa band corresponding to TGFBR3 was observed in HepG2, THP-1, Mouse Adipose and was not observed in SHSY5Y, Mouse Brain. C2C12 showed an upregulation in the expression of TGFBR3 upon differentiation.
