Description

This Histone H4 acetyl Lys8 antibody (H4K8Ac) has been validated for use in Western blotting (1:500 - 1:4,000 dilution). Specificity for acetyl-lysine 8 was confirmed by peptide competition with a non-modified histone H4 peptide and peptides acetylated at lysines 5, 12 or 16. Serum is non-reactive with recombinant human histone H4. Because this modification is conserved from yeast to human, a wide range of reactivity is expected. Overnight incubation with this antibody is recommended for Western blotting.
