- Description
- Polyclonal antibody for ADAR1/ADAR detection. Host: Rabbit.Size: 100μg/vial. Tested applications: IHC-P. Reactive species: Human. ADAR1/ADAR information: Molecular Weight: 136066 MW; Subcellular Localization: Isoform 1: Cytoplasm. Nucleus. Shuttles between the cytoplasm and nucleus; Tissue Specificity: Ubiquitously expressed, highest levels were found in brain and lung. Isoform 5 is expressed at higher levels in astrocytomas as compared to normal brain tissue and expression increases strikingly with the severity of the tumor, being higher in the most aggressive tumors.

- Experimental details
- IHC analysis of ADAR1 using anti-ADAR1 antibody (PB9976). ADAR1 was detected in paraffin-embedded section of human lung cancer tissues. Heat mediated antigen retrieval was performed in citrate buffer (pH6, epitope retrieval solution) for 20 mins. The tissue section was blocked with 10% goat serum. The tissue section was then incubated with 1μg/ml rabbit anti-ADAR1 Antibody (PB9976) overnight at 4°C. Biotinylated goat anti-rabbit IgG was used as secondary antibody and incubated for 30 minutes at 37°C. The tissue section was developed using Strepavidin-Biotin-Complex (SABC)(Catalog # SA1022) with DAB as the chromogen.
