- Description
- Description: This 9E2 monoclonal antibody reacts with human CD335, which is also known as NKp46. Expressed on NK cells, CD335 is a member of the natural cytotoxicity receptor family that also includes NKp30 and NKp44. This type I transmembrane glycoprotein is involved in activating and expanding resting NK cells following interaction with dendritic cells to eliminate tumor and virus-infected (e.g., influenza) cells. CD335 also interacts with pancreatic beta cells during the development of type I diabetes.
