Description

PA1-24769 detects RSK1 p90 (phospho S221) from human samples. PA1-24769 is expected to cross react with mouse (100% conserved) and rat (100% conserved) due to sequence homology. Cross reactivity with RSK2 is expected (100% conserved). Cross reactivity with RSK3 (80% homology) and RSK4 (90% homology) is possible but has not been tested. Not yet tested in other species. PA1-24769 has been successfully used in Western blot procedures. A431 and NIH3T3 cells treated with PMA can be used as a positive control for this antibody. The PA1-24769 immunogen is a synthetic phosphopeptide corresponding to a portion of human RSK1 containing serine 221. Store at 4C short term. For extended storage, aliquot and store at -20C or below, avoiding freeze-thaw cycles.
