In direct ELISAs and Western blots, approximately 10% cross-reactivity with recombinant mouse ICAM-5 is observed and less than 2% cross-reactivity with recombinant human (rh) ICAM-1, rhICAM-2 and rhICAM-3 is observed.

Experimental details

Detection of Human ICAM-5 by Simple Western^TM. Simple Western lane view shows lysates of human brain (motor cortex) tissue, loaded at 0.2 mg/mL. Specific bands were detected for ICAM-5 at approximately 146 and 180 kDa (as indicated) using 1 µg/mL of Goat Anti-Human ICAM-5 Antigen Affinity-purified Polyclonal Antibody (Catalog # AF1950) followed by 1:50 dilution of HRP-conjugated Anti-Goat IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog # HAF109). This experiment was conducted under reducing conditions and using the 12-230 kDa separation system.

Experimental details

Detection of Human ICAM-5 by Western Blot. Western blot shows lysates of human brain (motor cortex) tissue. PVDF membrane was probed with 0.1 µg/mL of Goat Anti-Human ICAM-5 Antigen Affinity-purified Polyclonal Antibody (Catalog # AF1950) followed by HRP-conjugated Anti-Goat IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog # HAF017). Specific bands were detected for ICAM-5 at approximately 115 and 140 kDa (as indicated). This experiment was conducted under reducing conditions and using Immunoblot Buffer Group 1.
