- Description
- MA1-25065 detects beta 1 + 2 Adaptin from human, rat, and bovine samples. MA1-25065 has been successfully used in immunofluorescence and Western blot procedures. This antibody stains clathrin-coated membranes at the plasma membrane, and in the Golgi region of methanol-fixed MDBK cells. By Western bloy on bovine and rat brain preparations, this antibody detects a major band of AP-1 at ~115 kDa and a minor component at ~110 kDa, and bands at ~104 and ~112 kDa representing AP2. The antibody reacts with polypeptides at ~100 kDa in bovine liver, human heart fibroblasts and MDBK cells, but not with any components in the 110-115 kDa range from these sources, or from rat PC12 cells, neuroblastoma or astrocytes. The MA1-25065 immunogen is AP2 adaptor from bovine brain.

- Experimental details
- Immunohistochemical analysis of Tubulin in Sertoli cell microtubules within a Stage VII seminiferous tubule of an adult male rat using a Tubulin monoclonal antibody (Product # MA1-25063). The heavy staining surrounding the Sertoli cell nuclei indicates a collapse of the vimentin intermediate filament network following treatment. Interstitial cells are also stained.
