- Western blot analysis was performed on tissue extracts (30 µg lysate) of Mouse Heart (Lane 1), Rat Heart (Lane 2), Mouse Skeletal Muscle (Lane 3), Rat Skeletal Muscle (Lane 4), Rat Colon (Lane 6), Rat Pancreas (Lane 7), Mouse Kidney (Lane 8) and whole cell extract (30 µg lysate) of C2C12 (Lane 5). The blot was probed with Anti-Actin Muscle Monoclonal Antibody (HHF35) (Product # MA1-10046, 1 µg/mL) and detected by chemiluminescence using Goat anti-Mouse IgG (H+L) Superclonal™ Secondary Antibody, HRP conjugate (Product # A28177, 0.25 µg/mL, 1:4000 dilution). A 42 kDa band corresponding to beta Actin was observed in muscle specific tissues and cell line when compared to non muscle tissues.
