- IFN-gamma Inhibition of EMC-induced Cytopathy and Neutralization by Cotton Rat IFN-gamma Antibody. Recombinant Cotton Rat IFN-gamma (Catalog # 565-RG) reduces the encephalomyocarditis (EMC)-induced cytopathy in the LCRT cotton rat fibrosarcoma cell line in a dose-dependent manner (orange line), as measured by crystal violet staining. Inhibition of EMC activity elicited by Recombinant Cotton Rat IFN-gamma (20 ng/mL) is neutralized (green line) by increasing concentrations of Goat Anti-Cotton Rat IFN-gamma Antigen Affinity-purified Polyclonal Antibody (Catalog # AF565). The ND50 is typically 0.3-1.2 µg/mL.
