ZAP70 information: Molecular Weight: 69872 MW; Subcellular Localization: Cytoplasm . Cell membrane ; Peripheral membrane protein . In quiescent T-lymphocytes, it is cytoplasmic. Upon TCR activation, it is recruited at the plasma membrane by interacting with CD247/CD3Z. Colocalizes together with RHOH in the immunological synapse. RHOH is required for its proper localization to the cell membrane and cytoskeleton fractions in the thymocytes (By similarity); Tissue Specificity: Expressed in T- and natural killer cells. Also present in early thymocytes and pro/pre B-cells.

Experimental details

Western blot analysis of Zap-70 expression in MW marker (lane 1), JURKAT whole cell lysates (lane 2), rat thymus extract (lane 3) and recombinant human Zap-70 protein (lane 4). Zap-70 at 70KD was detected using mouse anti- Zap-70 Antigen Affinity purified monoclonal antibody (Catalog # M00754) at 1μg/mL. The blot was developed using chemiluminescence (ECL) method (Catalog # EK1001).
