- Rabbit polyclonal to ABL2. ABL2, an Abl type protein kinase, regulates cellular morphogenesis and motility. ABL2 also is associated with the development and function of the central nervous system. ABL2 (-/-) mice develop normally but exhibit multiple behavioral abnormalities, likely resulting from defects in neuronal function. At least two mRNA transcripts, resulting in different protein isoforms of 1146 and 1182 amino acids, have been reported.
