Experimental details

(LEFT) Western blot analysis of anti-AKT1 Pab (Cat.#AP12557PU-N) in A375 cell line lysate. AKT1(arrow) was detected using the purified Pab. (RIGHT) Phospho-Akt-S124 (Cat.#AP12557PU-N) was used to detect Phospho-Akt in HUVEC. Human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVEC) were starved overnight and stimulated with either 50ng/ml of bFGF or VEGF for 5 min. Lysates were collected and SDS-PAGE was performed on a 10% gel. Data and protocol kindly provide by Dr. Eric Murphy of David Cheresh Lab, UCSD.

(LEFT) Western blot analysis of anti-Phospho-AKT1 Pab (Cat.#AP12557PU-N) transiently transfected HEK-293 cell line lysate (1ug/lane). Phoshop-AKT1 pab(arrow) was detected using the purified Pab (1:1500 dilution). (RIGHT) Formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human cancer tissue reacted with the primary antibody, which was peroxidase-conjugated to the secondary antibody, followed by AEC staining. This data demonstrates the use of this antibody for immunohistochemistry; clinical relevance has not been evaluated.
