- Western blot analysis was performed on tissue extracts (5 µg lysate) of Mouse Pancreas (Lane 1), Rat Pancreas (Lane 2), Mouse Lungs (Lane 3) and Mouse Heart (Lane 4). The blot was probed with Anti- Pancreatic Amylase 1 Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA5-25330, 1:2,000 dilution) and detected by chemiluminescence using Goat anti Rabbit IgG (Heavy Chain) Superclonal™ Secondary Antibody, HRP conjugate (Product # A27036, 0.25 µg/mL, 1:4,000 dilution). A 55 kDa band corresponding to Pancreatic amylase 1 was detected Mouse and Rat Pancreas but not in Mouse Lungs and Mouse Heart which are reported to be negative for expression of Pancreatic amylase.
