Description

This Histone H2A/H4 phospho Ser1 antibody (H2AH4S1Ph) has been validated for use in Western blotting of cells arrested in mitosis (1:1,000 - 1:50,000 dilution); its specificity for phospho-serine 1 was confirmed by dot blot and peptide inhibition with non-modified peptide or a phospho-Ser1 H2A/H4 peptide. Because H2A and H4 have divergent amino-terminal sequences in both budding and fission yeasts, only histone H4 Ser1 phosphorylation is detected with this antibody.
