Description

PA1-26674 detects PYK2 (phospho Y579 + Y580) from human and rat samples. PA1-26674 has been successfully used in Western blot procedures. Suggested positive control is vandate treated CEF cells expressing PYK 2 and plated on fibronectin. The PA1-26674 immunogen is a synthetic phosphopeptide corresponding to a portion of human Pyk 2 containing tyrosines 579 and 580. The sequence is conserved in human and rat.
