Description
Protein disulfide-isomerase A3, also known as, 58 kDa glucose-regulated protein or 58 kDa microsomal protein (p58) or Disulfide isomerase ER-60 or Endoplasmic reticulum resident protein 57 (ER protein 57 or ERp57) or Endoplasmic reticulum resident protein 60 (ER protein 60 or ERp60), and encoded by the gene names, PDIA3 or ERP57 or GRP58, interacts with lectin chaperones calreticulin and calnexin to modulate folding of newly synthesized glycoproteins. PDIA3 and complexes of lectins may mediate protein folding by promoting formation of disulfide bonds in their glycoprotein substrates.

Storage
Stable for 1 year at -20°C from date of receipt. Handling Recommendations: Upon receipt and prior to removing the cap, centrifuge the vial and gently mix the solution. Aliquot into microcentrifuge tubes and store at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles, which may damage IgG and affect product performance. Note: Variability in freezer temperatures below -20°C may cause glycerol containing solutions to become frozen during storage.
