- Human ADAM8 aa 498-653 Antibody
- Antibody type
- Monoclonal
- Description
- Protein A or G purified from hybridoma culture supernatant. Detects human ADAM8 in direct ELISAs and Western blots. Detects aa 498-653 of rhADAM8, which corresponds to the cysteine-rich and EGF-like domains. In direct ELISAs, no cross-reactivity with recombinant human (rh) ADAM9, rhADAM10, rhADAM15, rhBACE, or rhTACE is observed.

- Detection of Human ADAM8 by Western Blot. Western blot shows Recombinant Human ADAM8 aa158-653 and Recombinant Human ADAM8 aa 158-497. PVDF membrane was probed with 1 µg/mL of Mouse Anti-Human ADAM8 Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB10311) followed by HRP-conjugated Anti-Mouse IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog # HAF018). A specific band was detected for ADAM8 aa158-653 at approximately 65 kDa (as indicated). The antibody did not detect ADAM8 aa 158-497, indicating it is specific for aa 498-653. This experiment was conducted under non-reducing conditions only and using Immunoblot Buffer Group 1.
