Description

Inositol polyphosphate multikinase, also known as, Inositol 1,3,4,6-tetrakisphosphate 5-kinase, and encoded by the gene name(s), IPMK or IMPK, plays an important role in the biosynthesis of inositol 1,3,4,5,6-pentakisphosphate, and has a preferred 5-kinase activity. IPMK is localized to the nucleus and is ubiquitously expressed with the highest levels found in skeletal muscle, liver, placenta, lung, peripheral blood leukocytes, kidney, spleen and colon.

Storage

Stable for 1 year at -20°C from date of receipt. Handling Recommendations: Upon receipt and prior to removing the cap, centrifuge the vial and gently mix the solution. Aliquot into microcentrifuge tubes and store at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles, which may damage IgG and affect product performance. Note: Variability in freezer temperatures below -20°C may cause glycerol containing solutions to become frozen during storage.
