Description

Human MAF1 gene encodes a protein that is similar to the Saccharomyces cerevisiae Maf1 protein. Yeast Maf1 functions as a negative effector of RNA polymerase III (Pol III). Biochemical studies identified the initiation factor TFIIIB as a target for Maf1-dependent repression.

Storage

Stable for 1 year at -20°C from date of receipt. Handling Recommendations: Upon receipt and prior to removing the cap, centrifuge the vial and gently mix the solution.
