- Antigen Affinity-purified. Specific for the ~95 kDa Dynamin protein phosphorylated at S778 in Western blots. Labels the purified protein phosphorylated in vitro by Cdk5 but not by PKC. Does not cross react with other purified substrates of Cdk5 (e.g. Amphiphysin and Synapsin).

- Detection of Phospho-Dynamin (S778) by Western Blot. Western blot of rat hippocampal lysate stimulated with forskolin showing specific immunolabeling of the ~95 kDa dynamin phosphorylated at S778 (Control). The phosphospecificity of this labeling is demonstrated by treatment with 1200 U of lambda Phosphatase ( lambda-PPase) for 30 minutes before being exposed to the Anti-Phospho-Dynamin (S778). The immunolabeling is completely eliminated by treatment with lambda-PPase.
