- Description
- Monoclonal antibody for TOR/MTOR detection. Host: Rabbit.Size: 100ug/vial. Tested applications: Flow Cytometry. Reactive species: Human, Mouse, Rat TOR/MTOR information: Molecular Weight: 288892 MW; Subcellular Localization: Endoplasmic reticulum membrane ; Peripheral membrane protein ; Cytoplasmic side . Golgi apparatus membrane ; Peripheral membrane protein ; Cytoplasmic side . Mitochondrion outer membrane ; Peripheral membrane protein ; Cytoplasmic side . Lysosome . Cytoplasm . Nucleus, PML body . Microsome membrane . Shuttles between cytoplasm and nucleus. Accumulates in the nucleus in response to hypoxia (By similarity). Targeting to lysosomes depends on amino acid availability and RRAGA and RRAGB (PubMed:18497260, PubMed:20381137); Tissue Specificity: Expressed in numerous tissues, with highest levels in testis.

- Experimental details
- Western blot analysis of mTOR expression in Jurkat cell lysate (M00003). Electrophoresis was performed on a 5-20% SDS-PAGE gel at 70V (Stacking gel) / 90V (Resolving gel) for 2-3 hours. The sample well of each lane was loaded with 50ug of sample under reducing conditions. After Electrophoresis, proteins were transferred to a Nitrocellulose membrane at 150mA for 50-90 minutes. Blocked the membrane with 5% Non-fat Milk/ TBS for 1.5 hour at RT. The membrane was incubated with rabbit anti-MTOR monoclonal antibody (Catalog # M00003) overnight at 4
