- Immunostaining of HEK 293T cells transfected with a expression plasmid coding for human TRAIL (left panels), or mock transfected (right panel). Method: 3 days after transfection of cells as indicated, cells were fixed with 4% formaldehyde or acetone for 5 min. at RT. Slides were blocked with IgG, and incubated for 1 hour with PAb to TRAIL (Prod. No. ALX-210-732) at a dilution ofÊ1:100 or control rabbit IgG in PBS containing 1% BSA. After washes with PBS, samples were incubated with a biotinylated secondary antibody to rabbit IgG for 1 hour, washed in PBS and revealed with StreptABComplex/HRP (Vector) and AEC.

- Detection of recombinant human TRAIL (Prod. No. ALX-522-003Ê) but not of recombinant human FasL (Prod. No. ALX-522-001). Method: Recombinant soluble TRAIL, and recombinant soluble FasL as negative control, were resolved by SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, transferred to nitrocellulose and detected with PAb to TRAIL (human) (Prod. No. ALX-210-732)Êat a dilution of 1:500. Proteins were visualized using a peroxidase-conjugated antibody to rabbit IgG and a chemiluminescence detection system.
