Protein A or G purified from hybridoma culture supernatant. Detects human PKC zeta in direct ELISAs and Western blots. In direct ELISAs, less than 25% cross-reactivity with recombinant human (rh) PKC iota and rhPKC alpha and no cross-reactivity with rhPKC epsilon, eta, beta 1, beta 2, delta, gamma, nu, mu, or theta is observed. In Western blots, 100% cross-reactivity with recombinant human (rh) PKC iota and no cross-reactivity with rhPKC epsilon or eta is observed.

Experimental details

Detection of Human PKC zeta by Western Blot. Western blot shows lysates of HeLa human cervical epithelial carcinoma cell line. PVDF membrane was probed with 1 µg/mL of Mouse Anti-Human PKC zeta Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB6666) followed by HRP-conjugated Anti-Mouse IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog # HAF007). A specific band was detected for PKC zeta at approximately 78 kDa (as indicated). This experiment was conducted under reducing conditions and using Immunoblot Buffer Group 1.
