Description

Protein A or G purified from hybridoma culture supernatant. Detects mouse IL-1 beta/IL-1 F2 in direct ELISAs and Western blots. In Western blots, shows 100% cross-reactivity with recombinant rat (rr) IL-1 beta and rcrIL-1 beta , 15%-35 % with rhIL-1 beta and rpIL-1 beta , and no cross-reactivity with rmIL-1 alpha , rmIL-18, or rhIL-1 beta rp.

Experimental details

Cell Proliferation Induced by IL-1 beta/IL-1F2 and Neutralization by Mouse IL-1 beta/IL-1F2 Antibody. Recombinant Mouse IL-1 beta/IL-1F2 (Catalog # 401-ML) stimulates proliferation in the the D10.G4.1 mouse helper T cell line in a dose-dependent manner (orange line). Proliferation elicited by Recombinant Mouse IL-1 beta/IL-1F2 (50 pg/mL) is neutralized (green line) by increasing concentrations of Mouse IL-1 beta/IL-1F2 Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB4012). The ND₅₀ is typically 0.3-1.5 µg/mL in the presence of concanavalin A (1.25 µg/mL).
