- Description
- This mAb recognizes the cleaved C-terminus of ROCK-1. It does not recognize the full-length protein. Since ROCK-1 is cleaved by caspase-3 during apoptosis, this may be used for the detection of apoptosis. A suggested positive control is Jurkat cells treated with camptothecin or anti-Fas antibody to induce apoptosis.

- Western blot analysis of ROCK1 (Cleaved Asp1113) in Jurkat cells. Samples were incubated in ROCK1 (Cleaved Asp1113) monoclonal antibody (Product # MA1-41031) followed by a Goat anti-mouse Ig HRP secondary antibody. Lane A: untreated; Lane B: 1 hour; Lane C: 4 hour staurosporin-treated (2 µM) Jurkat cells. PicoTect ECL substrate solution was used.
