- Antibody type
- Monoclonal
- Description
- Monoclonal antibody for CDC2/CDK1 detection. Host: Rabbit.Size: 100ug/vial. Tested applications: IP, IF, IHC, ICC, WB. Reactive species: Human CDC2/CDK1 information: Molecular Weight: 34095 MW; Subcellular Localization: Nucleus. Cytoplasm. Mitochondrion. Cytoplasm, cytoskeleton, microtubule organizing center, centrosome. Cytoplasm, cytoskeleton, spindle. Cytoplasmic during the interphase. Colocalizes with SIRT2 on centrosome during prophase and on splindle fibers during metaphase of the mitotic cell cycle. Reversibly translocated from cytoplasm to nucleus when phosphorylated before G2-M transition when associated with cyclin- B1. Accumulates in mitochondria in G2-arrested cells upon DNA- damage; Tissue Specificity: Isoform 2 is found in breast cancer tissues.

- Experimental details
- Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded human colon, using CDK1 Antibody(M00209-2)CDK1 was detected in paraffin-embedded tissue section. Heat mediated antigen retrieval was performed in citrate buffer (pH6, epitope retrieval solution) for 20 mins. The tissue section was blocked with 10% goat serum. The tissue section was then incubated with 1ug/ml rabbit anti-CDK1 Antibody (M00209-2)overnight at 4?? Biotinylated goat anti-rabbit IgG was used as secondary antibody and incubated for 30 minutes at 37?? The tissue section was developed using Strepavidin-Biotin-Complex (SABC)(Catalog # SA1022) with DAB as the chromogen.
