Description

SIT1 (signaling threshold regulating transmembrane adaptor 1) is a protein-coding gene that is expressed in lymphoid organs. SIT is a key mediator of immunoreceptor-mediated signaling and acts as a regulator in T cell activation and T cell development. SIT plays a role in signal transduction by binding cytoplasmic adaptor Grb2 and phosphatase SHP2. SIT could also be involved in the negative regulation of TCR-Mediated signaling.

Experimental details

Human peripheral blood lymphocytes were surface stained with CD19 Brilliant Violet 421™ and then treated with True-Nuclear™ Transcription Factor Buffer Set. Cells were then stained with SIT (clone SIT-01) Alexa Fluor® 647 (top) or mouse IgG1, κ Alexa Fluor® 647 isotype control (bottom).
