Experimental details

Western blot analysis of Carbonic Anhydrase VIII in human brain (cerebellum) tissue and mouse brain (cerebellum) tissue. Samples were incubated in Carbonic Anhydrase VIII polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-47267) using a dilution of 0.5 µg/mL followed by a HRP-conjugated Anti-Goat IgG secondary antibody. A specific band was detected for Carbonic Anhydrase VIII/CA8 at approximately 36 kDa (as indicated). This experiment was conducted under reducing conditions.

Western blot analysis of Carbonic Anhydrase VIII in 0.2 mg/mL lysates of human brain (cerebellum) tissue and mouse brain (cerebellum) tissue. Samples were incubated in Carbonic Anhydrase VIII polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-47267) using a dilution of 5 µg/mL followed by HRP-conjugated Anti-Goat IgG at a dilution of 1:50. Specific bands were detected for Carbonic Anhydrase VIII/CA8 at approximately 41 and 50 kDa (as indicated). This experiment was conducted under reducing conditions and using the 12-230 kDa separation system.
