- For immunostaining, strong ER beta staining in epithelial cell nuclei is observed, with weak to moderate staining seen in surrounding stromal and endothelial cell nuclei, and sporadic light cytoplasmic staining. It has also been reported that this antibody has been used to detect ERb in colon and ovarian tumors. Positive control of recombinant fusion protein.

- Western Blot analysis of Estrogen Receptor beta was performed by separating 30 µg of non-transfected (–) and transfected (+) 293T whole cell extracts by 5% SDS-PAGE. Proteins were transferred to a membrane and probed with a Estrogen Receptor beta Monoclonal Antibody (14C8) (Product # MA1-23217) at a dilution of 1:5000. The HRP-conjugated anti-mouse IgG antibody was used to detect the primary antibody.
