Description

Non-T cell activation Linker (NTAL) is a transmembrane adaptor protein with an apparent molecular weight of 30 kD expressed on B cells, natural killer (NK) cells, and myeloid cells. The NTAL protein is found in rafts, which are membrane microdomains that participate in B cell activation. NTAL interacts with a variety of proteins including Grb2, PLC gamma 2, and PLC gamma 1. This gene is one of the contiguous genes at 7q11.23 commonly deleted in Williams syndrome.

Experimental details

Human peripheral blood lymphocytes were surface stained with CD19 Brilliant Violet 421™ and then treated with True-Nuclear™ Transcription Factor Buffer Set. Cells were then stained with NTAL (clone NAP-07) Alexa Fluor® 647 (top) or mouse IgG1, κ Alexa Fluor® 647 isotype control (bottom).
