- Goat Polyclonal PLGF Antibody
- Antibody type
- Polyclonal
- Description
- Immunogen affinity purified. Detects human PlGF (but not VEGF) in direct ELISAs and Western blots. This antibody will also recognize the heterodimer of VEGF and PlGF. In direct ELISAs, approximately 5% cross-reactivity with recombinant mouse PlGF-2 is observed.

- Detection of Human PlGF by Western Blot. Western blot shows lysates of CHO Chinese hamster ovary cell line either mock transfected or transfected with full length human PlGF. PVDF membrane was probed with 2 µg/mL of Goat Anti-Human PlGF Antigen Affinity-purified Polyclonal Antibody (Catalog # AF-264-PB) followed by HRP-conjugated Anti-Goat IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog # HAF017). A specific band was detected for PlGF at approximately 22 kDa (as indicated). This experiment was conducted under reducing conditions and using Immunoblot Buffer Group 1.
