- Neutralization antibody testing demonstrates the specificity of an antibody through a correlation between antibody binding and the activity of the target. Neutralization of IL-27 is shown by the decrease in mean RFU (relative fluorescent units - measure of inhibition of EMCV-induced cytopathy) with increasing concentrations of IL15RA Polyclonal Antibody (PA5-46993).

- Neutralization of IL-27 in HepG2 human hepatocellular carcinoma cell line. Samples were incubated in IL-27 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-46993). Recombinant Human IL‚27 reduces the Encephalomyocarditis Virus (EMCV)-induced cytopathy in the HepG2 human hepatocellular carcinoma cell line in a dose-dependent manner (orange line). Inhibition of EMCV activity elicited by Recombinant Human IL‚27 (25 ng/mL) is neutralized (green line) by increasing concentrations of Goat Anti-Human IL‚27 Antigen Affinity-purified Polyclonal Antibody. The ND50 is typically 1‚5 µg/mL.
