Description

Rovelizumab is a humanized monoclonal antibody targeting integrin CD11/CD18 (leukocyte function-associated antigen-1, LFA-1). It blocks LFA-1 binding to its ligand ICAM-1, inhibiting leukocyte adhesion and migration to sites of inflammation. It was developed for the treatment of acute inflammatory conditions such as stroke and myocardial infarction, aiming to reduce tissue damage from excessive immune cell infiltration.
