- Description: This 9B9 monoclonal antibody reacts with human CD368, also known as Clec6 or ClecsF8 or Clec4D. In peripheral blood, this C-type lectin is expressed highly on granulocytes and CD14+CD16- monocytes. Some dendritic cell populations also exhibit low levels of CD368 expression. Studies have demonstrated that this receptor undergoes endocytosis due to its C-type lectin-like domain. CD368 functions as a phagocytic receptor and is involved in proinflammatory cytokine production in cooperation with Toll-like receptors. Finally, CD368 also participates in cellular activation via signaling through Syk kinase.

- Normal human peripheral blood was incubated with the 1-step Fix/Lyse Solution (10X) (Product # 00-5333-54) and then stained with Anti-Human CD14 PE (Product # 12-0149-42), Anti-Human CD16 FITC (Product # 11-0168-42), and Mouse IgG2b K Isotype Control eFluor® 660 (Product # 50-4732-82) (blue histogram) or Anti-Human CD368 (Clec6) eFluor® 660 (purple histogram). Cells in the granulocyte (left) and monocyte (right) gates were used for analysis.
