- Description
- Description: This 6B10.2 monoclonal antibody reacts with human CD247, which is also known as the invariant zeta chain. The CD3 complex is composed of three monomeric chains (gamma, delta, and epsilon) and the invariant zeta chain, which exists as a homodimer or as a heterodimer with the epsilon subunit. Together with the T cell antigen receptor (TCR), the CD3 gamma, delta, epsilon, and zeta chains comprise the TCR/CD3 complex. CD3 zeta is expressed on immature and mature thymocytes, as well as T lymphocytes and NK cells. Signal transduction during T cell activation is mediated by tyrosine phosphorylation of cytoplasmic immunoreceptor tyrosine-based activation motifs (ITAMs) present on the zeta chain.

- Surface staining of normal human peripheral blood cells with Anti-Human CD56 (NCAM) APC (Product # 17-0567) followed by intracellular staining with Mouse IgG1 K Isotype Control PerCP-eFluor® 710 (Product # 46-4714) (left) or Anti-Human CD247 (CD3 zeta) PerCP-eFluor® 710 (right) using the Intracellular Fixation & Permeabilization Buffer Set (Product # 88-8824) and protocol. Cells in the lymphocyte gate were used for analysis.
