- Experimental details
- Detection of human HSF1 by western blot of immunoprecipitates. Samples: Whole cell lysate (1 mg for IP, 20% of IP loaded) from HeLa cells. Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-HSF1 antibody A303-175A used for IP at 6 µg/mg lysate. HSF1 was also immunoprecipitated by rabbit anti-HSF1 antibodies A303-174A and A303-176A, which recognize other epitopes. For blotting immunoprecipitated HSF1, A303-176A was used at 1 µg/ml. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 3 seconds.
