Description

This antibody is predicted to react with bovine, canine, chicken, mouse, non-human primate, sheep, Xenopus and zebrafish based on 100% sequence homology. This antibody is specific for the ~29 kDa 14-3-3 protein phosphorylated at Ser58. Immunolabeling is blocked by preadsorption of the antibody with the protein used to generate the antibody.

Western blot of rat brainstem lysate showing specific immunolabeling of the ~29 kDa 14-3-3 protein phosphorylated at Ser58 (Lane 1). The labeling by Anti-Ser58 14-3-3 is specifically blocked by the Ser58 phosphopeptide (Lane 2) used as antigen. The corresponding non-phosphopeptide did not block the immunolabeling (not shown).
