- Description
- Description: The SK7 monoclonal antibody reacts with human and chimpanzee CD3e, a 20 kDa subunit of the TCR complex. Along with the other CD3 subunits gamma and delta, the epsilon chain is required for proper assembly, trafficking and surface expression of the TCR complex. CD3 is expressed by thymocytes in a developmentally regulated manner and by all mature T cells. The SK7 and UCHT1 monoclonal antibodies cross-block binding, suggesting recognition of overlapping epitopes.

- Experimental details
- Immunohistochemistry analysis of GPR22 was performed on human pancreatic tissue and is showing positive staining in pancreatic islets. To expose target proteins, antigen retrieval was performed by microwaving tissues for 20 minutes in 10mM sodium citrate buffer (pH 6.0). Tissue slides were probed with a GPR22 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA1-152) at a dilution of 1:1000, overnight at 4C in a humidified chamber without (left panel) or with peptide blocking control (right panel). Tissues were washed, and detection was performed using an ABC kit composed of biotinylated goat anti-rabbit IgG, peroxidase-conjugated avidin, and 3-amino-9-ethylcarbazole (AEC) substrate in acetate buffer. Tissues were counterstained with hematoxylin and dehydrated to prep for mounting. Images were taken at 20x magnification.
