- In Western blots, less than 5% cross-reactivity with the ectodomains of recombinant human ADAM9, 10, 15, 17, and 19 is observed. This antibody detects an epitope within aa 201-497 of recombinant human ADAM8 which corresponds to the metalloprotease and disintegrin-like domains.

- Western blot analysis of ADAM8 in recombinant human ADAM8 aa 158-497 . Samples were incubated in ADAM8 monoclonal antibody (Product # MA5-23870) using a dilution of 1 µg/mL followed by a HRP-conjugated Anti-Mouse IgG secondary antibody. A specific band was detected for ADAM8 aa158-497 at approximately 40 kDa (as indicated). This experiment was conducted under reducing conditions.
