Description
Description: This 9E2 monoclonal antibody reacts with human CD335, which is also known as NKp46. Expressed on NK cells, CD335 is a member of the natural cytotoxicity receptor family that also includes NKp30 and NKp44. This type I transmembrane glycoprotein is involved in activating and expanding resting NK cells following interaction with dendritic cells to eliminate tumor and virus-infected (e.g., influenza) cells. CD335 also interacts with pancreatic beta cells during the development of type I diabetes. The 9E2 antibody has been reported to induce cytotoxicity. Applications Reported: This 9E2 antibody has been reported for use in flow cytometric analysis. Applications Tested: This 9E2 antibody has been pre-titrated and tested by flow cytometric analysis of normal human peripheral blood cells. This can be used at 5 µL (0.125 µg) per test. A test is defined as the amount (µg) of antibody that will stain a cell sample in a final volume of 100 µL. Cell number should be determined empirically but can range from 10^5 to 10^8 cells/test. eFluor® 450 is an alternative to Pacific Blue®. eFluor® 450 emits at 445 nm and is excited with the Violet laser (405 nm). Please make sure that your instrument is capable of detecting this fluorochome. Excitation: 405 nm; Emission: 445 nm; Laser: Violet Laser. Filtration: 0.2 µm post-manufacturing filtered.
