Experimental details: Knockdown of SRSF2 was achieved by transfecting HEK-293 with SRSF2 specific siRNAs (Silencer® select Product # s12730; s12728). Western blot analysis (Fig. a) was performed using whole cell extracts from the SRSF2 knockdown cells (lane 3), non-specific scrambled siRNA transfected cells (lane 2) and untransfected cells (lane 1). The blots were probed with SRSF2 Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA5-12402, 1:1000 dilution) and Goat anti-Rabbit IgG (H+L) Superclonal™ Secondary Antibody, HRP conjugate (Product # A27036, 0.25µg/mL, 1:4000 dilution). Densitometric analysis of this western blot is shown in histogram (Fig. b). Decrease in signal upon siRNA mediated knock down confirms that antibody is specific to SRSF2.

Experimental details: Western blot analysis was performed on modified whole cell extracts (1% SDS) of HL-60 (Lane 1), SH-SY5Y (Lane 2), K-562 (Lane 3), PC-3 (Lane 4), SK-BR-3 (Lane 5), HEK-293 (Lane 6), U-2 OS (Lane 7), Jurkat (Lane 8) and Mouse Lung (Lane 9). The blot was probed with SRSF2 Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA5-12402, 1:1000 dilution) and detected by chemiluminescence using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG (H+L) Superclonal™ Secondary Antibody, HRP conjugate (Product # A27036, 0.25 µg/mL, 1:4000 dilution). A 32kDa band corresponding to SRSF2 was observed across the panel tested.
