- Description
- Description: This HLy9.25 monoclonal antibody reacts with human CD229 (also known as Ly9 or SLAMF3), an approximately 120-kDa member of the Signaling Lymphocyte Activation Molecule (SLAM) immunoglobulin superfamily. This type I transmembrane glycoprotein is expressed on a variety of immune cell types, including thymocytes, T and B lymphocytes, and natural killer cells. Expression of CD229 is also detected on T and B cell malignancies, including Jurkat and Burkitt lymphoma cells, respectively. CD229 has been shown to interact with SH2-binding phosphatases and the adaptor proteins SLAM-associated protein (SAP) and EAT-2. Moreover, CD229 localizes to the immunological synapse following T cell activation. Applications Reported: This HLy9.25 antibody has been reported for use in flow cytometric analysis. Applications Tested: This HLy9.25 antibody has been pre-titrated and tested by flow cytometric analysis on normal human peripheral blood cells. This can be used at 5 µL (0.03 µg) per test. A test is defined as the amount (µg) of antibody that will stain a cell sample in a final volume of 100 µL. Cell number should be determined empirically but can range from 10^5 to 10^8 cells/test. Excitation: 633-647 nm; Emission: 660 nm; Laser: Red Laser. Filtration: 0.2 µm post-manufacturing filtered.
