Imaprelimab is an investigational, humanized immunoglobulin G1 kappa (IgG1¦Ê) monoclonal antibody directed against the melanoma cell adhesion molecule (MCAM), also known as CD146 or MUC18. It is being developed as an antineoplastic (anti-cancer) agent. By binding with high affinity to MCAM/CD146 expressed on the surface of tumor cells, imaprelimab exerts its antineoplastic activity through multiple potential mechanisms.
