Description

It recognozes the human CD125 (IL-5R\u03b1) antigen, a subunit of the heterodimeric interleukin 5 (IL-5) receptor which binds to IL-5. The human IL-5 receptor has an a subunit (IL-5R\u03b1) and a b subunit (\u03b2C) that are able to activate the Janus kinases JAK1 and JAK2 and a signal transducer and activator of transcription (STAT5). CD125 is expressed on eosinophils and basophils. Additional information: It displays negligible binding to Fc receptors.
