- Immunohistochemical analysis of SIGLEC5 in immersion fixed paraffin-embedded sections of human tonsil tissue. Samples were incubated with SIGLEC5 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-47058) using a dilution of 5 µg/mL for 1 hour at room temperature followed by Anti-Goat IgG VisUCyte™ HRP Polymer Antibody. Before incubation with the primary antibody, tissue was subjected to heat-induced epitope retrieval using Antigen Retrieval Reagent-Basic . Tissue was stained using DAB (brown) and counterstained with hematoxylin (blue). Specific staining was localized to lymphocytes in germinal centers.

- Neutralization of SIGLEC5 in human red blood cells. Samples were incubated in SIGLEC5 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-47058). Recombinant Human Siglec-5 Fc Chimera, immobilized onto a microplate, supports the adhesion of human red blood cells in a dose-dependent manner (orange line). Adhesion elicited by Recombinant Human Siglec-5 Fc Chimera (5 µg/mL) is neutralized (green line) by increasing concentrations of Human Siglec-5/14 Antigen Affinity-purified Polyclonal Antibody. The ND50 is typically 0.5-2.0 µg/mL.
