- Antigen
- Recombinant full-length protein
- Description
- This antibody detects the endogenous cleaved extracellular domain of human PTP sigma /PTPRS in Western blots. In Western blots, less than 1% cross-reactivity with recombinant human LAR, PTPR beta, PTPR gamma, PTPR mu, or PTPR kappa is observed. Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.

- Experimental details
- Western blot analysis of PTPRS in SH-SY5Y human neuroblastoma cell line, CHP-100 human neuroblastoma cell line, and A431 human epithelial carcinoma cell line. Samples were incubated in PTPRS polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-47487) using a dilution of 1 µg/mL followed by a HRP-conjugated Anti-Goat IgG secondary antibody. For additional reference, recombinant human PTPRµ, PTPRκ, LAR, PTPRσ, PTPRδ, and PTPRβ (40 ng/lane) were included. A specific band for PTPσ/PTPRS was detected at approximately 140 kDa (as indicated). This experiment was conducted under reducing conditions.

- Immunocytochemistry analysis of PTPRS in immersion fixed A431 human epithelial carcinoma cell line. Samples were incubated in PTPRS polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-47487) using a dilution of 10 µg/mL for 3 hours at room temperature followed by NorthernLights™ 557-conjugated Anti-Goat IgG Secondary Antibody (red) and counterstained with DAPI(blue). Specific staining was localized to cytoplasm.
