Detection of human BRD1 by western blot. Samples: Whole cell lysate (25 µg) from HeLa, HeLa nuclear extract (NE), Jurkat, HEK293T, and HEK293T nuclear extract (NE) cells prepared using NETN lysis buffer. Antibody: Affinity purified rabbit anti-BRD1 antibody (Product # A302-366A lot 3) used for WB at 0.04 µg/mL. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 3 minutes.

Experimental details

Detection of human BRD1 by western blot of immunoprecipitates. Samples: Nuclear extract (1 mg for IP; 20% of IP loaded) from HeLa cells. Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-BRD1 antibody A302-366A (lot A302-366A-2) used for IP at 6 µg per reaction. BRD1 was also immunoprecipitated by a previous lot of this antibody (lot A302-366A-1). For blotting immunoprecipitated BRD1, A302-366A was used at 0.4 µg/ml. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 30 seconds.

Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-BRD1 antibody (Product # A302-366A; Lot 3) used for IP at 6 µg per reaction. BRD1 was also immunoprecipitated by a previous lot of this antibody (Product # A302-366A; Lot 2) and a second antibody against a different epitope of BRD1 (Antibody 2). For blotting immunoprecipitated BRD1, Product # A302-366A was used at 0.04 µg/mL. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 30 seconds.
