- Description
- Description: This SK10 monoclonal antibody reacts with the human MHC Class II HLA-DQ molecule. This cell surface receptor is a heterodimeric protein composed of an alpha (HLA-DQA1) and beta (HLA-DQB1) subunit. HLA-DQ is expressed on antigen presenting cells such as B cells, monocytes, macrophages, dendritic cells, and activated T cells. HLA-DQ plays a role in presenting peptide antigens to CD4+ T lymphocytes. Reports indicate that certain alleles of HLA-DQ are associated with celiac disease and type I diabetes. Applications Reported: This SK10 antibody has been reported for use in flow cytometric analysis. Applications Tested: This SK10 antibody has been pre-titrated and tested by flow cytometric analysis of normal human peripheral blood cells. This can be used at 5 µL (0.125 µg) per test. A test is defined as the amount (µg) of antibody that will stain a cell sample in a final volume of 100 µL. Cell number should be determined empirically but can range from 10^5 to 10^8 cells/test. Excitation: 488 nm; Emission: 520 nm; Laser: Blue Laser. Filtration: 0.2 µm post-manufacturing filtered.

- Figure 1. Flow cytometric results: the percentage of surface-stained cells presenting HLA-DP, DR, and DQ in AOSD patients, RA patients, and HCs. Results were obtained from 14 patients with adult-onset Still's disease (AOSD), 20 with rheumatoid arthritis (RA), and 20 healthy controls (HC). The horizontal line indicates the mean value for each group. P values were determined by the Mann-Whitney U test.
