- Western blot analysis of VSNL1 in HEK293T cells in untransfected (Left lane) and transfected (Right lane) samples using 5 µg per lane. The samples were separated by SDS-PAGE and probed with VSNL1 (Product # MA5-26515) monoclonal antibody.

- Western blot was performed using Anti-VSNL1 Monoclonal Antibody (OTI1F7) (Product # MA5-26515) and a 20kDa band corresponding to VSNL1 was observed along with an uncharacterized band (*) at ~100kDa. For Fig a, Tissue extracts (30 µg lysate) of Rat Brain (Lane 1) and Rat Cerebellum (Lane 2), and for Fig b, Whole cell extracts (30 µg lysate) of Hep G2 (Lane 1), MCF7 (Lane 2), HCT 116 (Lane 3), NIH:OVCAR-3 (Lane 4) and A549 (Lane 5) were electrophoresed using NuPAGE™ 10% Bis-Tris Protein Gel (Product # NP0302BOX). Resolved proteins were then transferred onto a Nitrocellulose membrane (Product # IB23001) by iBlot® 2 Dry Blotting System (Product # IB21001). The blot was probed with the primary antibody (1:2000) and detected by chemiluminescence with Goat anti-Mouse IgG (H+L) Superclonal™ Recombinant Secondary Antibody, HRP (Product # A28177,1:4000) using the iBright FL 1000 (Product # A32752). Chemiluminescent detection was performed using Novex® ECL Chemiluminescent Substrate Reagent Kit (Product # WP20005) and SuperSignal™ West Dura Extended Duration Substrate (Product # 34076) for Fig a and Fig b, respectively. Relative expression of VSNL1 was observed between HCT 116 and NIH:OVCAR-3, A549 as reported in the literature (DOI: 10.1371/journal.pone.0001698). Relative expression was also observed between Hep G2 and MCF7, a cell line that expresses VSNL1 at very low levels.
