- Description
- Description: The monoclonal antibody UP-H2 recognizes human IREM-2 (immune receptor expressed in monocytic derived cells) also known as LMIR6, and unofficially CD300E and CD300LE. It is a member of the CMRF-35 family. This 34 kDa Ig-like containing receptor is an activating receptor and through it's charged residues in the cytokplasmic domain interacts with ITAM containing adaptor proteins like DAP12. Expression is found exclusively on monocytes and myeloid DC's. Expression may be transient as differentiation of monocytes leads to down regulation of IREM-2 yet expression is found on mature DCs. It has been also noted that myeloid cell lines such as THP-1 and U937 do not express IREM-2. In vitro addition of UP-H2 antibody either soluble or crosslinked stimulates monocytes. Applications Reported: This UP-H2 antibody has been reported for use in flow cytometric analysis. Applications Tested: This UP-H2 antibody has been pre-titrated and tested by flow cytometric analysis of normal human peripheral blood cells. This can be used at 5 µL (0.25 µg) per test. A test is defined as the amount (µg) of antibody that will stain a cell sample in a final volume of 100 µL. Cell number should be determined empirically but can range from 10^5 to 10^8 cells/test. Excitation: 488-561 nm; Emission: 578 nm; Laser: Blue Laser, Green Laser, Yellow-Green Laser. Filtration: 0.2 µm post-manufacturing filtered.
